Israel and Iran exchange more attacks

Iran launched a fresh wave of missiles at Israel early Monday, hours after the Israel Defense Forces said it was striking surface-to-surface missile sites in central Iran, as the conflict entered a fourth day.

The Israeli military also said it had struck command centers belonging to the Quds Force, a branch of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that directs Iranian overseas proxy forces.

The strikes overnight killed at least five people, according to Israeli authorities.

When asked late Sunday how he plans to de-escalate the situation, President Donald Trump said, “sometimes they have to fight it out.”
