Saudi Arabia Executes Citizen Convicted of Terrorism Charges

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior announced the execution of a citizen convicted of committing multiple terrorism-related offenses, marking the latest in a series of capital punishments aimed at combating extremism within the Kingdom.
The individual, identified as Faisal bin Awad bin Tayeh Al-Anzi, was executed in tAl-Qassim Province following a final ruling upheld by the Supreme Court. According to the ministry’s statement, Mansour was found guilty of support terrorist activities, and illegally selling weapons to facilitate criminal operations.
Authorities emphasized that the execution was carried out in accordance with Saudi law, which prescribes the death penalty for serious crimes including terrorism, murder, and drug trafficking. The ministry reiterated its commitment to preserving national security and warned that any attempts to destabilize the country would be met with firm legal consequences.
